Speaking to our Ancestors

Join us for the opening reception of "Speaking to Our Ancestors," featuring impactful and exciting art by talented artists, on Tuesday, May 21, from 5-7 PM at the NRCA Rotunda Gallery in New Rochelle City Hall, 525 North Ave. The exhibition runs through June 28th 2024. Artists include Shanequa Benitez, Evan Bishop, Alvin Clayton, Val Daughtrey, Traci Johnson, MarkAnthony Love, Barry Mason, and CJ Priester.

YAW 2024

My work with be shown at Yonkers Arts Space for the 15th Annual Artist Showcase current on display.

ART LAB RETURNS

A space for students to discover new strategies to manage academic demands and complete assigned work, while exploring the complex relationships between cognition, emotions, and behavior, using art-based directives.

FIT Master Classes

The primary objective of this project is to engage with young individuals who share a passion for the arts. These individuals should have demonstrated talent and possess an economic profile of EOP (Economically Oppressed) status. The project specifically targets those who are interested in professions and industries associated with fashion design, interior design, footwear & accessories design, illustration, and menswear.

BLM MURAL PAINTING

I had the privilege of being a part of the Village of Mamaroneck BLM mural repaint and maintenance project, organized by One Mamaroneck. It was an incredible experience to contribute my skills and passion to this meaningful initiative. July 2023

ARTIST MIXER

A tremendous success, filled with a vibrant atmosphere and a sense of artistic camaraderie. Artists and art enthusiasts from various backgrounds came together, forging connections and sharing ideas on how to advance the arts. 6.29.23

From 2019, I've assisted FIT's EOP as an art history tutor, proud to support education opportunities for disadvantaged students, and excited to introduce a 2019 video showcasing their exceptional achievements.
