Kicks for a Cause β€” Sneaker Color Lab
OCTOBER β€’ BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

πŸŽ€ Kicks for a Cause

Design a sneaker colorway that communicates awareness, hope, strength, or support.

1. Choose your sneaker

2. Pick your colors

3. Choose your tool

Tap inside an enclosed sneaker section to fill it. Use Brush to add a ribbon, pattern, or lettering.

4. Design identity

Digital sneaker coloring studio

Choose a sneaker, then tap a white area to color it.

Design brief: Use at least 3 colors. Pink is the color commonly associated with breast cancer awareness. Add a ribbon or another meaningful symbol. Other cancer-awareness campaigns use different ribbon colors, so research the meaning before choosing one.

Today's lesson β€’ 35 minutes

  1. 5 min: Discuss how color and symbols communicate a message.
  2. 5 min: Select a sneaker and plan your palette.
  3. 20 min: Color your sneaker and add personal details.
  4. 5 min: Name your design, write your statement, and download.

Exit ticket: How did your sneaker's colors and symbols communicate your message?
