Valen Daughtrey is a New York–based illustrator and contemporary artist whose work explores the human experience through history, portraiture, and visual storytelling. His practice blends composition, texture, and color with augmented reality to create immersive narrative experiences.

Valen’s work has been featured in She Exist Magazine and recognized in the Bronx Brewery “Up and Comers” series. He has exhibited across New York, including Larchmont Art on the Avenues, Yonkers Arts Weekend, Warburton Galerie, and the Fashion Institute of Technology.

He earned his BFA from FIT and is completing his MFA in Illustration. Valen also supports students as an advisor and tutor with FIT’s Educational Opportunity Program and works with New Apostle Gallery in Mount Vernon.
