Despite the rain, Yonkers Arts Weekend was a resounding success, thanks to your unwavering support and dedication. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended and embraced the opportunity to experience the exceptional talent and creativity of our local artists. Your presence made the event all the more special and demonstrated your commitment to uplifting the arts in Yonkers.

Save the Date! June 15th is an important day for art enthusiasts in Yonkers. It's the last day for the public to view the remarkable artworks featured in the 14th annual Yonkers Artists Showcase. This event has been a celebration of the incredible talent displayed throughout the exhibition, highlighting the creativity and vision of our local artists. Don't miss this final opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of artistic wonders showcased in this remarkable event.

We Art One, in collaboration with Cross County Summer Fest, is hosting sip and paint sessions on June 13th, June 27th, July 11th, July 18th, and August 8th. These sessions offer a unique opportunity to unleash your inner artist while enjoying the company of fellow art enthusiasts. Join us for a memorable experience of creativity, friendship, and a glass of wine. Pre-registration is required, so be sure to head to Cross County Center's website for tickets and secure your spot. We can't wait to see you there!

Exciting News for the Art Community: Join Me for a Meet-and-Greet Mixer!

For the past few weeks, I have been in talks with WE ART ONE, a non-profit organization I sit on the board of, whose mission is to build community through the arts. I'm also in contact with The Atelier, a new high-rise building in New Rochelle that provides studio and coworking spaces for artists at affordable prices. The Atelier is launching a special lottery incentive.

In order to qualify for this lottery, you'll need to submit an application, which we are happy to send over to you. This is a great opportunity to secure a studio space at a fraction of the cost, so don't miss out!

Together, we are planning a special event for artists in the area. This meet-and-greet mixer will take place on June 29th at Alvin and Friends, a popular venue known for its vibrant atmosphere and support of the arts. It's the perfect location for artists to come together, learn about each other's crafts, and share a mocktail. We'll keep you posted with any updates regarding the event.

As an artist myself, I understand the importance of networking and building relationships with other artists. I hope you'll join me on June 29th at Alvin and Friends for this exciting event and help us build a strong artistic community in the area.
